Surf film-maker Justin Gane has spent more time shooting racing cars than waves lately but he has had time to post a few classic clips. Gane is the man behind such influential ‘90s surf flicks as Unleashed, Pulse, Pulse 2 and Supa Doopa, showcasing the best Australian surfers of the day. Brenden Margieson, Neal Purchase Jnr, Occy, China O’Connor and the world’s first glimpse of the blossoming talents of the Coolly Kids were all featured in Gane’s flicks. This Occy compilation is something to behold. As Angourie Boardriders posted on FB when they shared the clip: “Watch this groms. That’s what your rails are for.” |
